For those who know me, me and my friends always play monster characters. Our DM wants to run an epic campaign, so were gonna be playing epic monsters, so you expect some bizarre race/class combos!...

Anyway the ECL isn't a problem. Our group has a different ECL system you see, one that lets monsters of any ECL play at any level. Anyway there are seven of us, this is what we have got at the moment. We are starting at 25th level, no prestige classe's allowed at the beginning, but we can gain PrC's as we progress...

LN Hunefer Psion 23/Monk 2
CN Winterwight (not sure on class)

And im gonna play a LG Samurai 25 (not sure on race)

We need some help! . We need two race/class combos (go as mad as you like!) as well as their alignments, my friend needs a class for his Winterwight and I need a race for my Samurai!. HELP!...

Well, if you don't get too much of a penalty- try a paragon, half-celestial Ogre Mage for your Samurai- or maybe a paragon Tsuno (from OA). Eager to redeem themselves of the taint of evil in their blood.

For the Winterwight: Ftr/Rogue (Specialize in non-social skills that the gloom and the samurai can take care of- go for assassin or some other stealthy killer)


Some other ideas:

CN or evil (or good if born from evil gods) Atropal Cleric/Necromancer (or sorcerer) that resulted from a failed attempt to kill it by the gods who spawned it. Now it seeks revenge on its parents.
It finds comfort in things that are dead more than things that are living.
You could aim for True Necromancer, Pale Master, or the like.

Paragon illithid psion or psychic warriror who rebelled against the god brain.

Half-dragon epic dragon Sorcerer.

Demilich or Worm that Walks Wizard or Sorc. Enough said.

Paragon, monster of legend, monstrous, awakened cottontail rabbit Ftr/Rogue/Monk Get the Vorporal Strike feat and you got yourself the Vorporal Bunny, better known as the Dread Beast of Caerbannog

Behemoth Eagle Druid and gorilla Ranger- Nature's ultimate champions.

Neh-thalguu Wizard going for Alienist. Hey- it makes sense being the Far Realms

Paragon drider Wizard going for the same thing. Choose spiders as your feared creature.

Thanks Psychotic Jim, your the only person i've got a real answer from on this question. I tried posting on some of the other boards and people were just babbling on about their role-play value, and believe they will be roleplayed.

Im not really a big fan of playing heavily-templated creatures, but your idea has made me make my mind up. Im going for a LG Paragon Ogre-Mage Samurai!.

I asked my friend about your idea for the Winterwight. He liked the concept of a Fighter, and he's changed his alignment to NG!.

I asked my other two friends who weren't sure about their characters. The one instantly snapped up the Neh-thalggu Wizard concept, and the one liked the Atropal looking for veangence against his family idea, but still isn't sure on the class, he felt that Necromancer was too obvious.

So our party stands like this, some of the alignments and multiclassing have changed a bit, im also putting down their genders, which I forgot to mention last time...

Hmm. Since your group is primarily good and lacking a divine spellcasters, I suggest a Cleric, Druid, Shugenja (Sp?) or Shaman for the Atropal then. Perhaps he was the offspring of Death and Tragedy or something and he has rebelled to go the opposite route. Perhaps he is trying to convert all of the evil cultists out there to worship him, and he literally a cleric of himself. Or perhaps a cleric of some sort of philosophy, such as Good ro Healing, since he has been disillusioned by his fellow gods. Might make for a somewhat tragic character though, with the death aura thing and all. Or he might just decide to avoid moralistic ways and stay neutral and be a cleric of some force like Life, Death, or Magic.

Edit: Seeing a picture of this uh... unique adventuring troop would be pretty cool too.

I asked him, and he liked the Shaman idea. He going to play a CN Atropal Shaman who has learnt to control his deadly presence. He seeks equality between the living and the dead. Thanks for your help Psychotic Jim!, but im afraid i've changed my mind again!. My Samurai is still Female, but she's now a Uvuudaum. I've played a Male Uvuudaum Psychic Warrior before, so I wanted to roleplay a Girl!. heres the finshed the party now...
