Honestly, to me, WotC has to prove itself with the actually pudding that is to be served. Marketing hype is just that, marketing hype. I will wait till I see more substance.
You see, I just don't trust the folks at WotC. I personally started a thread that questioned the verbage of some statements made as being indicative of a 4e release. Scott R. responded to me directly, and said (not exact quoting) "don't think anything into that. We (WotC) are not about to release 4e anytime"... and a whole bunch of WotC Fanboys attacked me in that thread for being alarmist.
So, I feel that I was lied to directly... and in fact, I was correct in my assumptions.
So, no applause from me. Don't get me wrong. I am interested in what is in store, at least to look, but I don't appreciate being deceived.
