I don't think it's been brought up yet. Slap me if it has. But I don't remember anyone mentioning what the DM thinks of this idea. It could be crucial. I'm not saying that the DM will tell you "no, you can't attack the party," but a bigger concern is that if the DM is not inclined towards the idea ahead of time and it takes him by surprise as much as the party, he might not be inclined to rule in your favor when the chips are down. For instance, when you give the dwarf a potion of bestow curse, he might tell the dwarf to roll a Sense Motive check, just to be "fair," whereas if he were foretold of this event, he might decide that the dwarf has no reason to make a Sense Motive check and wouldn't remind him to do so unless the dwarf asked to make one. Little things like that could make a big difference, so I recommend checking with the DM, if you haven't already, and making sure he won't try to nerf this idea with unfavorable rulings. In fact, if he likes the idea, he might be inclined to make some favorable rulings for you, which never hurts. You're playing politics of course, but it is still something you should consider.

My advice:

#1) Pick one of the three to take out immediately. My advice would be the mage...but I don't know the PCs well enough.

#2) Spend the last 2 rounds of the combat with the necromancer getting next to the shadow mage and summoning monsters. ( (Use the magic item gems.) As soon as the necromancer is down, have the summoned creatures attack another of the party (say, the druid) while you full round attack (and kill) the mage.

#3) Round 2 will be tricky. If you've played it right, the summoned elementals are attacking the druid, and the mage is dead. Ideally, you charge the druid (with a lance?) and give the killing blow. For the most part, you are ignoring the angel.

#4) With the mage and druid dead, round 3 is for the angel. It's likely he has yet to full round attack you....which is good. You wait for him to charge up and get a whack in, then full round attack him. Result: One dead angel.

Really, after a major battle, killing PCs isn't that hard.

Dust of Sneezing and Choking is nice, if you have a way to protect yourself. Try a Necklace of Adaptation.

This the way to go. Make sure you are wearing the necklace and in the middle of your group. Use the dust and the whole party is helpless for 2-20 rounds even if they save. Just make sure no one else has such a necklace or an item or ability like it. With an average roll on duration you can CDG the whole party. :]
