that image cracked me up xD I'm asking her about the Dhampir, but the goblin sounds epic right now as well xD. Also, should I go straight-up bard, or throw another class in for a dip?

I'm a fan of the gritty, soulful blues man archetype. Long on faith and resolve, short on patience. Quiet, stern and stoic but lays down the hot licks and hip grindin' rhythms. Orc or hobgoblin seems a good choice here, but almost any race will do. Would never use his guitar as a weapon but would never be without a bottle that could do a fine job bustin' a skull.

Unless you put a goblin on steel drums. In which case, make sure he has umbrella drinks as often as often as possible.

Well, acoustic guitars make lousy weapons- too fragile.

Solidbody guitars could be- well, have been- used as nasty weapons, but they're heavy enough you couldn't use them that way for long. Besides, you'd need a fantasy amp & pickups to make use of a solidbody. Long way to go for a PC design.
