Actually I think REF save is the most important save for the d4 adn d6 hp crwod. At those hit points fireballs etc are save or dies if you don't have a good con.

And for BAB at 20th level yeah its good, bad, or don't even try. At lower levels its a 1-2 point difference so Its good, almost as good, and not so good. Which is why over 20 levels its good, average, crap.

For Rogues, REF might be the most important, but overall, it's easily the least valuable save. Most of the d4 types can afford to make CON their second-highest stat, so they generally do ok.

And as far as BAB goes, that "1-2 point difference" actually makes a huge difference throughout, because it affects iterative attacks. It's only a (relatively) minor issue at levels 1-5, and even there it screws Rogues over when it comes to things like getting access to Weapon Finesse.
