Interesting. It states "D&D Insider will cost more than a magazine subsciption but less than an MMO. The precise figure hasn't been announced (or decided)."

However, the D&D fact sheet Morrus posted does list $9.95 as a price. It may not have been decided, but it has been "announced."

That $10/mo price is simple their shot in the dark, target price. However until it gets closer to release and a final assessment of costs are done, that does not represent a precise figure.

There's tons of awesome information in that FAQ but by God, some of the questions are so obnoxious.

"1)The listed specs are sufficient to run the award-winning game Oblivion. Is WotC promising to have graphics on par with Oblivion at release?"

Followed by:

"3)How much value are graphics on par with Oblivion in a virtual tabletop game?"

You could just hear WotC_DM gritting his teeth as he answered that post.

Free means free. I believe if you read the FAQ you'll find a section about the SRD where the same rationale comes up: the SRD is free. Therefore you do not need DDI to get the SRD, because requiring a subscription fee would mean it wasn't free. But it is free.

3)Echoing others, are there any plans for the 3.5 SRD to be expanded? It's understandably not necessarily in your best interest now, and even if it is, it is probably very low in priority, so it would go slowly, but I think some of the material would be good to have.

3)It will reference the PHB, MM (with certain monsters reserved), and DMG like in 3.x

I think he misunderstood the question, and I'd really like to know the real answer to it.
