This week's addition to the RPG Toolbox is a fun (well, I think it's fun) little GM's tool called the Automed GM. Think of it as an RPG version of the popular, round, black, hand-held oracle used to answer yes/no questions in the toy section of major department stores.
In addition to 35 variations on answers to typical yes/no questions, it contains information for minor conflict resolution using a d20 as well as snippets to add amient sights (such as broken glass, a trail of blood, or a pile of trash) and sounds (such as an explosion, a moaning voice, muffled crying, and maniacal laughter) to random encounters.
