"The Banewarrens" Is it really _that_ good?

Nice way to compliment your DM, diaglo. :p

It's a decent enough adventure -- the dueling factions are great, though it can get a little difficult for players to follow. The dungeon itself is almost a little too large, and too linear -- quite trap-heavy, too. I've actually cut some material for simplicity, and added other material approproate for the campaign (and I'm not running it as a city-based adventure, either), so it's hardly box-stock Banewarrens.

It's a level 6-10 adventure, so if you're planning to run 10th level characters, better bump it up quite a bit.

Emirikol---

I'm not generally a big Monte fan, but Banewarrens is his strongest adventure written for 3e. I like the fact that it's both dungeon- and city-based, like Pavis from RuneQuest; I also like the competing factions, the timeline (NPCs do stuff independent of PC actions), and the general concept overall (it reminds me a little of Tomb of Horrors---you really don't want to keep going, but... ;) ).
