I just realized something very interesting about lance of faith.
It says..."One ally you can see gains a +2 power bonus to his or her next attack roll against the target".
What's interesting is unlike the vast majority of powers out there, there is no clause that says it expires at the end of your next turn, nor does it require that the person's next attack roll be against the target....simply that the next attack roll against that target gets the bonus.
What that means is a party can use lance of faith to gain bonuses for later in the fight.
For example, a cleric can hit a creature, and give the fighter a +2 to an attack roll against that creature...but the fighter can use it whenever he feels like it, he's not forced to rush over and hit right at that moment.
Makes the power look a little cooler in my book.
