The Beards Are Back to Save the Boobs

Last year I posted here about the Beards4Boobs campaign over at www.honotogroabemo.org. I was also running a contest at that time supported by some great game designers. It was awesome and my largest sponsorships came from here.

This fills my heart with joy. We all know that many of the stereotypes about gamers are untrue and unfair and this was just more proof of that and I thank you for it.

Well, it's November again (I know right) and the time has rolled around when I am growing my beard in order to fight breast cancer. Nearly 40,000 women will die this year in the USA from breast cancer and it doesn't have to be.

I don't have a gaming contest going on this year (at least not yet) but I am writing a fantasy novel for NaNoWriMo and posting it publicly each day with my beard-growing pictures.
