Skip the dwarvish war axe. Clerics are always strapped for feats, demihuman ones even more so. Burning a valuable cleric feat for +1 damage is very underwhelming and a waste of a feat, IMHO.

*Exotic Weapon Prof: D. Waraxe gets you +1 damage (1d10 vs 1d8 from a war hammer or morningstar).
*The 4th level Dwarvish Racial Sub level gets you 1d8+2 with the warhammer, which is actually superior damage output with the same critical modifier. And its bludgeoning so you can smash skeletons (although Keen Edge won't work on it). The cost is a levle 2 spell.
*Just using a morningstar deals B/P damage and is only -1 damage compared to the dwarvish waraxe (along with the x2 crit modifier). And this requires no feats/sub levels to do. You can probably do better than +1 damage and a better crit modifier with your feat.

Dwarves treat dwarven waraxes as martial weapons, not exotic. No feat to burn. I personally like hammers for a dwarf for flavor reasons myself.

Figure out concept. A dwarven cleric could be a self buffing/self healing tank easilly, but the aforementioned Trickery and Travel domains would be an interesting twist.

Clerics are not proficient with martial weapons.

D'oh! Of course not! err...I've been sick? (does that work?)
I meant... he could take the War domain, or a level of fighter along the way.

Well, since you only get 1 feat, take Divine Vigor. It increases your movement and grants you temporary hit points - useful for a Dwarf.
