EDIT: Please feel free to post your opinion on what is, or is not, the best

Like I said in the first round polls:

A new year begins, and 3rd edition D&D comes close to its end.

The time for judgement has arrived. Over the coming days I will do a series of polls to see what was good, what was bad, and what was meh.

We now move onto the next round. The time has come to vote for the Best of WotC’s 3rd edition products.

The choices are based on the results of 4 first rounds polls. The top five “I Like” vote getters from each where included, ie the five most popular. As where any in the top five based on % of those voting for the product that liked the product (#liked/(#liked+#disliked)), ie the five highest quality. In most cases these overlapped substantially, and 5-6 where included from the top of each category. In addition, 10 wildcards where added. These are the 10 highest quality products that didn’t make the first cut.

Winners, wildcards, and honorable mentions (not in the poll) are listed below.

I think the method you use in previous polls is better. The method you are using now distorts the results, see for example the low count for tfiendish codex I. While it got very high percentage in recent polls, probably less people are familiar with it than with spell compendium, for example.

I agree especially among those who are primarily or exclusively players.

My favorites on that list:

- Lords of Madness
- Red Hand of Doom
- Fiendish Codex I

I liked a bunch of others, but I think those are my top 3.

My favorites are :
Unearthed Arcana
Fiendish Codex I
Dragonomicon
Complete Warrior
Complete Arcane
Heroes of Horror
Fiend Folio
Stormwrack

Thats a good point. Though I was at least partially interested in the "popularity contest" aspect.

We will see how it goes.
