Hi folks. I’m just playing around with the idea of a ducking and diving, bobbing and weaving frontline stabby rogue here and would value your input.
One of the things I consider myself poor at is judging power levels so any advice is welcome.
THE BLEEDER (ROGUE SUBCLASS)
The Bleeder is predominantly a melee combatant rogue that likes long odds on the frontline. With battle tactics that are both brave and dirty, they know the real ways of combat and the vulnerable points. The Bleeder likes to get stuck in with their weapons and will bathe in the blood with a smile upon their face.
IN THE MIX
When you choose this archetype at 3rd level, you enjoy getting stuck in. When you attack a creature with a melee weapon attack, and you have another enemy within 5 feet of you, you gain advantage on that attack.
Additionally, your style of fighting revolves around using small sharp weapons. The hand axe and the sickle become melee finesse weapons for you.
OUTNUMBERED
At 9th level, you use your enemy’s numbers to distort the battle-lines. When you are targeted by a melee attack, as long as you have more than one enemy within 5 feet of you, that attack has disadvantage.
BLEEDER
At 13th Level, you strike with deadly accuracy at your enemy’s weak points, gouging grievous wounds that struggle to close. When you hit a creature with a melee weapon attack, you turn the knife in. You may now add your xxx modifier to the damage.
Also, as your target is starting to bleed out, they cannot restore hit points; healing spells, potions, regeneration etc., until the start of your next turn.
BLOODBATH
Starting at 17th level, when you hit a creature with a melee weapon attack, you can use your bonus action to make a melee attack against all other creatures of your choice within 5 feet of you, with a separate attack roll for each target.
Thanks in advance for any responses.
