The Blue & The Grey (Cupid & Psycho)

Ryan rubs his face with his hands, obviously not pleased by the development.

"Ayuh. And now, iffin' we put pressure on that mcnutsy, it goes up to his boss, who calls the bigshot at the studios, who has contacts in Washington Ah'd bet, so we get shut down that way even faster. How the heck we end up with that sort of crap anyway? Ah was promised werewolves and vampires. Bela Lugosi and Boris Karloff, Ah guess it would relate, but some starlet?"

Ryan sighs heavily, and looks up at the ceiling.

"So.. What, ya feel like takin' a spin to Tinseltown, pardner?"

"Yeah, lets go shake the tree so to speak and see what falls out Aye?" she said, her irish upbringing leaking through a little.

She grinned at Ryan's werewolf comment. "Not every case is going to involve the supernatural partner. Folks can be just as evil as that which goes grr in the night." Shannan said wryly. "Anyone who'd kill and mutiliate an innocent girl is evil as evil can be. Leastways in my book it is."

You start heading towards the upscale portions of LA, keeping your thoughts on the case to yourself. Waiting at one intersection, you see a street vendor selling maps to stars' homes. It occurs to you that Dowling was last seen in Westwood, a trendy area where a lot of actors live.

Talk with Monroe, see if she's had anyone disturbing hang around her. Knowing her, probly yes. Like I said IC, maybe Monroe was the real target. Worth looking into.

As Ryan starts driving in that direction, a thought comes to his mind.

"Ya wouldn't happen to know who her agent/manager/whatever-they-call-themselves is, wouldja? I reckon he'd be more talkable, and prolly more knowledgable, too. Ahh well, at th least she can give us the name of said-person."

"Aye, think nothing of it, pardner. My form of entertainment is a long, hard ride."

After a bit of silence, he blushes, which is easily noticeable.

"Horses. I ride horses. Aww crap."
