Evidently this website has been floating around the internet for a while, but I just tripped upon it today . . .
The Book of Beings (http://www.umop.com/beings/index.htm) is a wickedly neat bestiary of home brew, 1st edition monsters. This is clearly a labor of love, and makes me nostalgic for my old Fiend Folio Book.
Many of these monsters look like they'd fit right into a 3e game. Maybe the Creature Catalog team ought to consider a mass conversion project?
