If nothing else, though, this suggests Monte's still interested in doing more design, even if it's just cleaning up his house rules for publication. Maybe there's yet hope for a 4E Complete Book of Eldritch Might.

Honestly, no. And I do plan on continuing to play 3e.

It sounds interesting, but one of the reasons I want to stick with 3e is because I have a large inter-operable body of work with which to build my world with. It sounds as if a 20 level spell system, though I see the benefit, would be more disruption trying to integrate than it would be worth to actually implement. So it would be merely a curiosity, and when it comes to my purchasing priorities, things that I know I would never use rank pretty low.

I've had quite a difficulty of explaining to casual gamers hoe class level =/= spell level.

So yeah, I might be interested in seeing this.

I don't think I've ever read a Monte gaming book that I didn't like. I don't plan on converting to 4E. Especially that they are now adopting a "college text book" business model. So my answer would be "YES".

I doubt very much I would buy it. I already have an abundance of spellsn thanks to the Spell Compendium, and everyone who plays with me understands the spell level versus character level deal, and is comfortable with how it works.

We are on the fence for 4E, we will likely try it but keep playing 3.5.
