If not Neutrality, then Law and Chaos definitely.
I played a LN Cleric of St Cuth for well over a year, and saw both the BoVD and BoED go by and could use nothing in them. Defenders of the faith had all of 2 cleric-centered prcs that I could qualify for.
The cardinal alignments (Neutral Somethings and Somethings Neutrals) simply get the shaft in comparison to the diagonal alignments (CE, CG, LE, LG) when it comes to the materials designed specifically for them. Forget about True Neutrals. The large majority of what's out there is written for the most obvious crusaderish/tyrantish, liberator/psychopath character types. I readily admit to using broad-strokes to define what's out there, but I do so because it seems like every stroke the designers have made for the book tend to miss the Neutrals.
The whole "blar- neutrals don't have the roleplay requirements or dangers" statement is folly, in that roleplay should never balance mechanics... and also in that currently it seems like WotC products either push people towards Racial stuff, Good stuff, or Evil stuff. If you aren't a dwarf, elf, part of a clearly established Faerunian faction, or cleric of a small set of greyhawk gods, there's a saddeningly disproportionate amount of material and options set forth for you.
