From out of the bushes, a shuriken flies through the air, slicing the dragon across her neck, cutting deeply into the scaled but still vulnerable flesh there.

-Quagmire moves up and supports Alex and Hrav for their attacks.
-Alex chops into the dragon once more with his sword.
-Girth tries his magic but the power fails him this time.
-Hrav throws a shuriken and slices deep into the dragons throat! Black blood spurts out onto the ground where it sizzles and burns the grass away.
-Kartharath roars in fury and unleashes another blast of acid breath at Quagmire and Hrav despite leaving herself open for an attack from Alex. The fighter slashes at her and can't pierce her scales, but the distraction is just enough to allow Quagmire to dodge the acid breath spraying towards him. Hrav manages to dodge it easily though.
-Quagmire, Alex, Hrav, and Girth again...

OOC: You guys are so lucky I rolled poorly for that breath weapon attack!
I thought I had tagged Quagmire at least but then remembered the -2 on attacks due to being marked. 
Also, sorry for the delay. With the site down for a few days at the end of last week combined with massive yard work around the house this long weekend I wasn't able to get on before this morning.

Girth, still tip-toing in and out of the shadows around the clearing fired off another of his Lady-granted powers. "May this see your end" he hissed, angry, mostly with himself, for his lack of discipline in the battles so far.
Fortunately for his sanity, and the ears of those around him, this time he managed to concentrate enough to actually have an effect. A cracked shimmering appeared in the air twixt himself and the dragon. Instantly a deep darkness shot across this created void to slam into the face of the dragon.
Girth cackled and capered wildly before once again dropping back into the penumbra of darkness.

Alexander relentlessly continues the assault against the dragon, cornering her in the choice between attacking an apparently indestructible wall or his allies, amidst a rain of blows.
Regardless of the dragon's choice, Alexander Duran's blade, left to him by his grandfather, continued to bite at the beast, despite its edge dulled by the thick scales, its owner fighting almost in a berserker rage, covered in blood and acid, roaring almost louder than the dragon itself.
