Raising this thread back up.

A little commentary here on what being a Judge might involve.

If the next Ceramic DM is an 8 person contest, then you will need to read and judge 14 stories. If it is a 16 person contest, then you will need to read and judge 30 stories.

I am sure Alsih2o has some sort of general judging guidelines if you ask, so if you have any doubts, definitely ask! :)

As a judge, you will be making a value opinion on which stories you liked better. If you are uncomfortable being openly judgemental, you might not enjoy being a judge. Most people are comfortable being privately judgemental. But this is a situation where you will be openly expressing your opinion.

As a writer, I appreciate all of our judges. I do not imagine it is an easy task to read and judge. All comments that you provide are valuable. If you are willing to judge, step in. The water is fine and we don't bite (much). :)
