The Complete List of d20 Monster Books Updated 12/10/04

Nitpick: the book from Atlas is called "Fantasy Bestiary" not "Penumbra Fantasy Bestiary". Unless you're gonna prepend the imprint/publisher name to every book.

Are you turning Denizens of Avadnu into a series of pdfs?

Yes. We are going to be releasing Denizens of Avadnu as a locked ebook through DriveThruRPG. We don't want to leave the RPGNow crowd out, so we are also releasing Digital Denizens, which will collect all of the monsters into like challenge ratings and will include counters for a battle mat.

DaveMage beat me to the MEG books - let's see what else there is...

All I can think of right now is the upcoming "BESM d20 Monstrous Manual" from Guardians of Order, and "A Swarm of Stirges" from Behemoth3, Inc

Edit: Ooh! Green Ronin's "Advanced Beastiary" is out!

Can anybody tell me where I can find these:
Book of Beasts [Robert J. Hall]
Here.
http://www.dcrouzet.net/nbomisc/downloads/bookofbeasts_v4.pdf

Encyclopedia of Creatures [Dream Reality Press]

My bad. Apparently I have a preview, not the real deal.
Website is not there, no listing at RPGNow, so...dunno. Sorry.

Monster Menagerie [Viking Games]
Also gone. Also a preview.

Voadam, send me an email.

I forgot about Eric Boyd's collection. It's called "Bestiary of the Realms: Volume 1", and is available here http://www.ericlboyd.com/dnd/monsters.html

Cheers
Nell.

That book of Beasts is great!

Quick contact e-mail sent.

Thanks.

This thread was a great idea. I was wondering, does anyone want to create a thread for weapons books? I would but I've really no idea where to start......

Now all we need is a PDF or RTF that includes all of the special attacks/qualities from every (OGC) monster book available. That would be an extremely useful tool.

Hm. I wonder who came up with that idea? :p

One print book that might be added to the MONSTER TYPE SERIES is Out for Blood by Bastion (for vampires). I say might because it has many new types of vampires and PrCs (about 60/40 without the new ones in the errata- which woule put it at 65/35).

Thank you to phil reed for stopping in.

It is a great idea, with a long section 15:)

So would a book dedicated solely to discussing challenge rattings.

Or an update to the monster handbook by FFG

"If a PDF version of a print book is marketed as a new line with a new name and is broken up by challenge rating, would that warrant an additional entry on the list?"

I could list it next to Denzins of Avadnu in the same manner as the armies of the abyss is to the book of fiends, Though if you want it listed as a Pdf, I will list it the way you request it. As I love my Legends of Avadnu. Go Epic Levels!

"Nitpick: the book from Atlas is called "Fantasy Bestiary" not "Penumbra Fantasy Bestiary". Unless you're gonna prepend the imprint/publisher name to every book."

The book is listed in the enworld publisher list as penumbra fantasy beastiary and is listed in the atlas product catalog as penumbra fantasy bestiary so it stays penumbra fantasy bestiary unless some one from atlas says otherwise.
