The current "Real Deal" on Castle Zagyg by G. Gygax

Well we've been using OAD&D while playing Yggsburg and it's been a breeze to convert on the fly. So, it looks like we'll be using OAD&D for the rest of the castle/dungeon. Yggs is hands down an awesome product and we're having a great time with it. (we used Dark Chateau too)

The only product that rivals it's practical usefulness for time challenged DM's is Ptolus. These two products have actually chased the boardgames back to their shelves for months! ( I still love boardgames but these modules are amazing) Anyways, I hope you enjoy making and publishing these "new" levels and I can wait the extra time, so don't rush it.

GenCon '07 or Bust!!! ( Gary's going to be there!)
Howdy!

Well sure the C&C material can be converted to AD&D with ease, but I urge that you consider the multi-classing and skills rules found in the CZY book, as they make for more interesting and varied PCs and NPCs...without moving any of them into the realm of comic book superheroes ;)

As for boardgames, I confess to playing them most every Wednesday at son Ernie's place, and sometimes here at my own on those Thursdays that I am not up for GMing, and Jim Ward isn't on hand to run his Metamorphosis Alpha game for us.

Cheers,
Gary

I find it interesting that Ygsburgh and nearby territories have a Nordic culture by and large, yet the largest city is named Dun Falcon. It's fairly obvious that Gary had something in mind when he named it that, but "dun" has another meaning. In Scots Gaelic "dun" means "steading" or "holding". Thus one could refer to the polis as Falcon Steading.

I see adventure potential in that. :)

Heh, Teuto-Norse deities, but definately a more English culture in Yggsburgh:)

Shameless plug follws:

Take a look at The Hermit and Hall of Many Panes as both have D20 stats in them. the former gets to dungeon-like play pretty quickly, moves around to interesting places thereafter...if the initial dungeon is solved. The HoMP has all manner of adventure secanrios in it, amny of which are reminiscent of old school play, and there is one quite challengind dungeon level in it.

My players bombed out in the first module, but got through the huge HoMP one with flying colors, having much fun in the process.

Cheers,
Gary

His age and he talks about regularity.
We all, all that came, that is, played androids in Jim Ward's Metamorphosis Alpha game campaign lst night, As everyone knows, androids need not worry about such bodily functions.

Bah!

Coming from someone that is mainly an irregular of late, I take that as lacking any weight :p

Yes, that is "my bad" lately. Not to my liking, but
I do what I can. With school looming on the very
near horizon, it looks even more bleak! :(
I'll have to see how things play out!

But, I'll be there next week. :)
