Dear MODERNIZED contributors and advertisers,
Many of you submitted content for MODERNIZED back in April, and may have noticed that no new issue of MODERNIZED has emerged. Most of the delays can be chocked up to the realities of myself being a full-time student with a full-time job, but the biggest obstacle thus far has been the death of my personal computer.
A lot of data has been lost. Thankfully, I have not lost any of the articles; however, I have lost all advertisements submitted for the next issue, as well as the MODERNIZED mailing list and all contact e-mails. I don't even have a list of who or what companies sent me material so I can request replacements.
MODERNIZED is recovering, and with outside help, we are beginning to re-assemble Issue #3. Thankfully, I no longer have to shoulder this burden of love alone. That said, we need assistance from the original contributors and advertisers to make up what we have lost. I apologize in advance for this annoyance.
To begin, my e-mail is david s gallant at yahoo dot ca (no spaces). Please contact me here, instead of the usual MODERNIZED e-mail address (MODERNIZED@IntrepidHeroes.com).
To those contributors that submitted art, I will need you to send it in again.
To those publishers that submitted advertisements, I will need you to send those in again as well. I understand that a lot has happened in the industry since April, so you are more than welcome to submit ads for more current releases.
With your help, we can help bring out MODERNIZED Issue #3 just in time to celebrate the first anniversary of MODERNIZED. Keeping watching this site for more information on the future of MODERNIZED - we've got big plans!
Something to keep in mind: our first and second issues have a combined number of 6000 downloads to date. We literally reached thousands of people; do not pass up this opportunity!
