The D&D Multiverse needs a "Crisis on Infinite Oerths"

This would be an interesting concept for when they want to end the current D&D line (5E). Since D&D has always been meant as a fairly generic rules for differing worlds, using this event would be a good way to consolidate the worlds into a single style.

That rather misses the point of having multiple settings in the first place.

I’ve actually done this with the anti-monitor and monitor. And a merger of dc and marvel cosmology. That is I also used eternity, living tribunal, as well as the new gods and source wall, and endless.

My purpose was not to merge the worlds, but to stop the anti-monitor.
