The D&D... uh.. coloring book

I had that. I remember distinctly a number of pages. One was the adventuring group gathered 'round a table in a tavern (some part of my brain tells me they were al fresco) just before they set out for the dungeon. Another was the attack by the Umber Hulk which IIRC killed one of the party members. Then there was the encounter with Tiamat, which went something like this: the party opens a door in the dungeon, they see Tiamat sitting on her hoard, they slam the door and keep moving. Gotta love those Gygaxian dungeons :).

Man - bringin' back the memories.
That's the one, alright. And I'm sure that it had some simple form of 'Dungeon' in the back.

but in D&D goblins were never green.
That's just because you haven't waited long enough for the errata.

Besides, I saw LotR:TTT recently, so I happen to know goblins are either black or flourescent blue.

And they speak Cockney.

I've got an old AD&D colouring book entitled "The Lost Wand" that I just pulled off my bookshelf. Seems to be from '83ish. I scanned the cover and one page from the inside.

"Everybody flee! She has... butterflies!"

So... if Helayne has the wand, it's not lost, is it?

:)

I'll see if I can scan a couple of pages from "See Strongheart Run" today.
