1st D20 Modern game I played in featured Calvin Coolidge Washington, AKA Bible Black, urban adventurer, bike messenger, and bullet-sponge extraordinaire. Best character accent I've ever heard.

Don't know if I'd buy the book... but the idea itself is priceless. And I think brainstorming up your own crunch for a blaxploitation game would be blast... as much fun as playing it... just get a few 40's and let loose.

This also gets me thinking about a Kill Bill-themed campaig where each character is drawn from a different exploitive genre...

Depends on what you consider exploitative, I s'pose... my team would look something like:

Big Joe Justice, African American A**whoopah (Blaxploitation)
-(Str/Tgh/Cha)
-Six foot six, enormous 'fro, red calf-length leather trenchcoat
-Catchphrase: "Oh hell no, white boy. Now I'm 'a be late to my date with yo mama on account of havin' to kick your a**..."

Jian-wa "Johnny" Chin, the Peking Duke (Chock socky exploitation)
-(Str/Fst/MA)
-Five foot four, slim, always walks around with benign expression until somebody goes too far...
-Catchphrase: "Look like you take dat one on da Chin!"

Weezer (Stoner movies)
-(Ded/Daredevil)
-Five foot six, ratty clothes, indeterminate odor, vacant but happy expression
-Catchphrase: "...Huh?"

-Five foot eight, hot, usually prancing around in a bikini and heels
-Catchphrase: "I can reroute the control grid to bypass their security cameras by short-circuiting their central system core relay... but I'll need to take off my top first..." (cue music)

That's very good, using "Skinemax softcore" as a genre...

One potential group:

Chakra Khan (Bollywood meets Cinemax), half-Hindu psychic stripper/assasin. She can see far enough into the future to save her butt, but enough to adequately cover it.

Ice-Nine (gritty 90's ghetto epic meets Introduction to 20th Century Literature 101), bling-drenched Caribbean prophet/assasin. Never without his diamonds, Glock, and cat's cradle. Advocate of a non-existent religion he made up while stoned.

NJA, aka "The Ninjah", GZA, aka "The Ginzah", and Ol' Stabby Bastard (Wu-Tang Clan, ie hip hop meets kung-fu movie). I think these speak for themsevles...
