The Dance of Souls

You know Banion while I understand doing it in a city full of the corrupt. What makes you think we are being followed out here in the wilderness?, Most of the Ashen Talon still probably think we are still back in town.

Banion smiles and winks.

"Maybe I'm just crazy. Maybe I believe in conspiracy theories and figure someone's allready told the ashen talon where we are headed. Maybe I believe in Divination magic and figure some ashen talon cleric may have asked a god where to find us, or a talon mage might scry on us. Maybe I believe there are other dangerous things about that would eat us for lunch if they accidentally stumbled over us. Maybe I just don't know what to believe, and figure we ought to be carefull. Take your pick."

(Yeah, yeah, I know - an extremely local (and even more stealthy) meteor shower kills you all. :p
I think I need to rewrap my brain a bit. Hopefully I'll update my games later today.)

Eight uneventful days pass and you reach the mountains easily - almost too easy, some of you may think. The villages that you passed were small, and you could not find out more in them.

Now, you stand at the mountains with a path in front of you, and according to the directions you were given, this should be the path to the Keep of Bloodstained Dreams. A small stone slab reading "To the victims of the Keep" might be the grave Taras talked about.

Azaroth will squat down in front of the grave look at it intently, he will place his hand on the top of the monument and say *rheotrically of course*. What secrets of this keep did Taras bury with you my friends? *he pays his respects and continues up the road* Well we are around the same place that Taras and his group were at the time of the tragedy. If it was an effect from within the keep we'd best rest here for now so we will be refreshed for when we are closer. What do you guys think?

"Unless we intend to take our mounts into the keep, we'll need a place to put them anyway. Let's look around for a campsight with good grazing, concealed from the view of any outriders leaving from the keep."

Azaroth and Gur find a passable camp site, though you are not fully sure how out of sight it is, and you work a bit to make it a little less obvious.

Night falls... (do you set up a watch?)
