Guards 2
Gur - 14
Beamer - 11
Banion - 5 (Dex)
Azaroth - 5

Gur moves into a better position, and lets another arrow loose, but it doesn't even scratch the wall. Beamer holds his shot. Banion's mindblade clings into the wall, then dissipates. Azaroth's magic missile, finally, does hit the guard.

Just then, the main door opens, and three guards with crossbows rush out. Beamer's held shot easily drops the first one to rush out, but the other two seek and find the four shapes on the wall, targeting the, from their point of view, leftmost shape. Despite the darkness, the first shot hits Azaroth in the shoulder, dealing 1 damage. The second shot is far from any living creature, on the other hand.
(these guards are unarmored, just quickly-donned clothes and crossbows as weapons.)
Guard 2 vanishes through the door at the other side of the keep.

Banion manifests his mindblade and throws again. The new opponents are not so far away (between 2 and 3 range increments) and Banion's shots are accurate once more. d20+4=19 for 5 damage.

Edit: Actually, it looks like it's between 1 and 2 range increments, so I overpenalized the throw. Should hit AC 21, actually.

*Azaroth pulls out his sling and prepares to continue the fight*

*Azaroth misses the guard from before (got a total roll of 4)

Gur's shot goes far, while Beamer hits the guard squarely in the chest. He only drops after Banion skewers him with his mind-blade, however.
The remaining guard shoots, but she misses.
From the inside, arcane mumblings can be heard. You don't have to wonder long what the spell might be, as Guard Nr 2 steps back out through the main door - much larger than before.
