Squirrels, ahoy!

Gur, confident that he can take out guard 5, lets to arrows fly, but while the first shot pierced her shoulder, the second only graced her arm. While certainly gravely wounded, she remains standing.
The larger guard, after a literal barrage, seems to be just as wounded. The two guards stagger back through the main door.

Quickly thereafter, you notice the torchlight from the rear court being extinguished.
 

Banion manifests his mindblade once more, frowning as it gets darker.

"Anyone have a light spell?"

ooc: Sounds like I may no longer have a target, but the map seems to suggest I do... If I have a clear shot, I take it. Otherwise, I ready an action to throw at the first enemy I get a clear shot at.
 


Beamer reloads his crossbow. "I have some sunrods. We should move. I don't like waiting here for them to figure out how to get us. Too bad I have not scraped together enough cash to summon a familiar." While talking, Beamer readies an action to shoot the first guard to appear.

OOC: How much room is there to move around without making climb checks?
 

ooc: The readied action then.

"I hate to give up such a great position. It's like shooting at the wooden ducks in a carnival. If you insist, though, escape out of the keep by the rope. Gur and I will cover your retreat."
 


Beamer looks around the hillside for another position overlooking the interior of the courtyard, ideally on the other side of the keep. "I agree this is a good spot. I wonder though if we could find another spot. You know, hit them from another angle."

If Beamer sees another suitable spot that they could get to without much difficulty (DC 10 climb or less), he will point it out. "What about over there?"
If not, Beamer concedes, "Perhaps this is the best we can do."
 

OOC: Ah, ok. Is the top of the wall in the dark? Where, if anywhere, are there stairs leading from the courtyard up to the wall?

"Maybe we could just move along the wall to a different spot."
