The Deed of Paksenarrion - who wrote it?

hmmmm...

i'm looking at my local student union library's catalog, and thay have 12 or so titles by elizabeth moon. one is an anthology headed up by Anne Macaffery, so I'm assuming it's the same Elizabeth Moon.

I seem to recall people saying that the deed of paksenarrion was the name of the series. if that's true, then what's the name of the individual books?

1. The Sheepfarmer's Daughter (1988)
2. Divided Allegiance (1988)
3. Oath of Gold (1989)

There is a follow-up series, set much earlier, called The Legacy of Gird. As much as I loved the first series, I didn't really like the first book. Never did get the second book.

1. Surrender None (1990)
2. Liar's Oath (1992)

These were also published as one book, The Legacy of Gird, in 1996. The Deed is also available as a one-book trade paperback.

Moon's Bibliography

interestingly enough they have been republished in 2001 by Little Brown & Co.

But they're checked out right now... so on hold they go!

I'm just curious why you wouldn't just either search Amazon.com for it or Google for it (first hit is the Amazon.com listing). It's way, way more efficient than asking people on a bulletin board.

Not complaining, just curious.

I do not know why he would not but I would assume that I could never spell it right. So I would ask the pals on the board who pimp the series (I just finished by the way -- thanks for recommending them).
