The DM screen actually increased my participation!

I alternate between standing and sitting, depending on my mood. I alternate between screen and no screen as well.

We are currently using a dinign room table, until I can build a gaming table.

I tend to sit most of the time though I haven't DM'd much. Hopefully I'll get a game going now that some friends have moved out to where I live and I'll have to try it then.

I tend not to have problems getting into a scenario but I do tend to get so excited I start forgetting important cues I needed to throw out. I guess thats why I'm an alright DM but everyone's favorite player

My living room is pretty small, so when everyone is present we are pretty cramped - but as DM I claim the most space.

I'm not sure how cramped it is for you, but I don't think I have space to stand up to move around with how cramped our area is!
