Oh, and as for the Vow of Poverty -- I just got the Book of Exalted Deeds for this campaign, and the Vow of Poverty looks interesting. I think that my PCs would prefer to have some differentiation through gear.... but the Vow of Poverty should definitely be an option.

Glad you liked my idea! After you guys play a few sessions, update us as to how it went- I'm curious.

The next time I advance my campaign's timeline significantly, I think I'll be turning the dnd economy on its nose.
