The end of DND????

It'll be okay, folks. I've talked to the people at Sealand (http://www.sealandgov.com/), and they've agreed to colo the opengamingfoundation.org website. I've also pulled some favors from some Asian spammers who know the dark address spaces of the internet better than most, and they've agreed to keep a copy as well, so our game will be safe. Which isn't to say that we'll always have access, but it will always be there.

Think of it like the last Truffla Seed. Someday, it will come time to plant it, and when we do, maybe D&D can return to the world.

Remember folks, in the end, the shadow is but a passing thing. A great man said that, a great man who lived through darkness and hate, yet created great beauty for brighter times to enjoy. This is now our task.

PS- Too much? ;p

D&D will never be dead, since the Sage is here to defend his turf! :) *summons Vangal, Chardun, Corean, Madriel, Hedrada, Tanil, Enkili, and Belsameth* When I got these wonderful gods on my side, can you honestly say I'm going to lose? ;)

Sure sure- you say that now, but when Scarred Lands goes to a different game system, then what tune will you be singing? :D

Okay. Okay. Don't panic. I've got a plan. If every EN Worlder memorizes one page, then we should have enough to cover, what, all the core books at least? Then, we exchange phone numbers, and every time one of us needs to reference a certain page, we just call each other up. I know, this means a little less sleep for each of us (as we'll probably be getting calls well into the wee hours from other countries), but isn't it worth it to save D&D?

I'll remember the front cover...
ummm, Dungeons & Dragons
Player's Handbook
Core rulebook I

heh, i should be able to remember that
:D
owww, as a bonus, i'll do the side also!! (nice ain't i?)

I'm not a wealthy man...and neither are most of us. But if we combine our wealth, we can afford a small island in the South Pacific.

It will be a Gaming Trust where gamers the world over can come to live and play. We'll make our own laws and our own rules!!

We'll call it...Fantasy Island! ...wait, that one's taken. Ok, we need a name still..but we can do this.
