The ENnies have moved

Really? May I ask why?

There isn't much else going on at that time of night, unless you want to go out drinking, and you wouldn't be doing that in the convention center either.

Though I don't, by any means, want to bash the ENnies, there actually is quite a lot going on at that time of night. This is the second year that there are 2 things I want to do at the same time as the ENnies.

Technically, it had more to do with my wife than anything else. She had a foot injury days before GenCon that year and so I was pushing her about in a wheelchair. That isn't fun in the convention center and even less fun on city sidewalks....

There isn't much else going on at that time of night, unless you want to go out drinking, and you wouldn't be doing that in the convention center either.

I do believe I used that time to meet Ashanderai at one of his events. Ash is authoring a setting I will publish for him once he gets it done. Seeing the setting being run for folks who knew nothing about it (and a few who did) was far more interesting than the ENnies could have been.

Since I had the choice of doing something in the center or abandoning my wife in the hotel, I just didn't go to the awards.
