I keep coming across pictures of Joe Perry with a Fender with a reverse headstock. I read this a few months ago, and the author mentioned that Hendrix and Joe Perry must have both realized that they stayed in tune better and were easier to bend strings. Just odd I keep seeing pictures like this recently when I never knew he was known for this.

I saw the Black Crowes last night in East Aurora, NY. It is a 3 day festival called the Borderlands. First time I was there but I have heard it comes through for the last decade or so, but not sure if it touring or a regional thing. Crowes were great. Besides that, the venue was awesome, had a drunk golf cart driver take me from my brother's car to my seat. You want a beer or need to use the head, no wait. Sound was really good too. Live Nation/Ticketmaster/Harvey and Corky, take notice because this is what you should have done...well before all the antitrust lawsuits are going to hit them.

Harvey and Corky were a local ticket retailer when I was growing up. Every show was billed as a Harvey and Corky production. Turns out Harvey was Harvey Weinstein,

Is it wrong to microdose while drunk and play your guitar on like 5, (which is still loud) just more nuanced, at 4AM -7AM? Too lazy to hook up any effects, went straight in the amp dry but hit the gain hard. Sounded good to me

I don't believe in the no-win scenario

The one is my buddy and we played Arkham Horror the board game last night, got drunk and they left about 8. Other neighbor is my girlfriend, she came over about 9-10, got more dunk and death defiantlyingly shallow fried chicken wings, how we survived I'll never know, but they all left, I bought the Mothership deluxe boxed set, then went and rocked out. My white Squier Telecaster with Dimarzio Super Distortions and a roasted maple neck. Sounds great...to me...at 6:37am. Nah none of the neighbors complained, actually dont think they even knew

Nothing Compares 2 You is like Whiskey In the Jar...3 covers in 50 years. Whiskey In the Jar: The Kingston Trio, Thin Lizzy and Metallica. Nothing Compares 2 You: You got Prince, who wrote it, Sinead O'Connor and Chris Cornell

I'm going Kingston Trio and Cornell

ADD TO THAT: THE DUBLINERS

Hmm, thats tough call on Whisky in a Jar. I do love me some folk Americana and Kingston Trio are fabulous, but that song just sounds right as a rock song. Imma go with Thin Lizzy.

Another tough call on Nothing compares to you. I love Cornell he is such an incredible singer. Though, I think he is putting a little too much sauce on it. I'm a stick with Sinead as the iconic version.

So, Sweet Jane? Lou Reed or Cowboy Junkies?

Hurt? Johnny Cash or NIN?

Cornell with the strings crushes it!!!! Sinead O'Connor got famous off of Princes song, right?

Hurt? Johnny Cash or NIN?
