The Evil character that got a bit "Too Real"...

Hey there people, a fellow player of mine posted a short about a recent event in our campaign.

My character is Xunhrys, the Drow Noble. I would also like to point out the setting, its in a version of Faerun where the sun is constantly and completely blotted out, so there is a large are taken over by Drow, and our campaign focuses on one of these drow surface towns.

Why is that "too real"? It seems to me that it is entirely appropriate and mature of a response to actually consider the import of your play and take what you do seriously. You do after all spend hours of your life animating this fiction. If you were playing an evil SOB and were never ever aware that you were playing an evil SOB, than would be a bit too unreal.
