The Expanded Psionics Handbook Confirmed Information Thread

Please note that "The Soulknife has all but officially been confirmed, but not much is known about it." So it isn't really official yet that I have seen. I hope it is, but we'll have to wait and see.

I honestly don't think there's any question at this point. Both the Eberron preview and the In the Works mentioned the Soulknife in the same breath as the confirmed base classes, and didn't mention *any* other class that might be the "fourth class." No other 3.0 Psionics PrCs have been even mentioned in any article. I would, quite literally, bet ten thousand dollars on it.

By the way, I just asked Andy Smith about the Expanded Psionics Handbook and the SRD, and he said it would be added and probably within about a month after the release.

In another thread about the miniatures, it says that Ragnara the Psychic Warrior is a Maenad. So that means that Maenads look a lot like Humans, it also say she has the ability to smite, which might be her racial ability or a new feat that Psychic Warriors can get.

Or, it may simulate a psychic warrior power that adds to damage once.

And don't forget that the Psychic Warrior mentioned so far (of which we've even seen a miniature) is just ol' 3.0 iconic PsyWar Ma'avarkith with a new name...

I hope that this time around, you can play a psionic character without having to take a level in a psionic class, or be of a naturally psychic race/monster type. The Psymbiot feat from Dragon would be great for monk-type twins or something like that.

Well, you have to take a level in a magic using class to be a magic using character (arcane or wizard), so why would you expect this to be different?

You may be disappointed. The "wylder" class seems to be targeted at the concept of a "wild" psionic.
