D&D 5E The Final Announcement from The Descent Live Stream: Eberron Hardcover

The final announcement at the end of The Descent stream is a hardcover book for the Eberron setting!
No details have been announced, but Nathan Stewart closed out the live stream event for The Descent by proclaiming the final book out this year would be a hardcover setting book for Eberron.

Thanks! At least I did not waste time and energy staying up to watch that live.
You're welcome! I watched the entire concert and missed the Game of Thrones finale live to cover the announcement of an Eberron hardcover.

...they did a karaoke cover song of ACDC's "TNT" but changed the lyrics to "DND"...I don't want to disparage the musical talents of the people who performed it, but the end result was not as witty as you might thing it is from just the description...

Well. I was really hoping for Planescape/Spelljammer, but Eberron seems like a pretty good second choice. At the least it has the virtue of not being in the Forgotten Realms. I wonder what this means for Adventurer's League this coming September. Lots more AL adventure mods in the pipes? What about the Wayfarer's Guide to Eberron PDF? Will that material be included as-is into this upcoming Setting Book, or will it be tweaked and transformed? New subclasses in the works? Airship rules expansion to the vehicle rules in Ghosts of Saltmarsh?

Let me amend my statement to this is pretty damn exciting!
I do like the Realms, but I'm just getting tired of it these days so I share your sentiment there. Also would have preferred Ravenloft too.

Welp. I officially don't know what they're doing anymore, and I don't think they do either. Everything made sense through 2017 or so, but since then it's been one wrong turn after another. :erm:

Good. Maybe now we can put away the tinfoil hats and red yarn. WotC doesn't broadcast their intentions at best and is willing to wholesale mislead their fans at worst. Lesson learned, right everyone?

Congratulations, Eberron fans, although I'm not sure how surprised you should be, given that this is the third edition in a row you've gotten an update. /lotsWife
