The First Three Banners

Well, I've taken you guy's suggestions in further work. Ok, ok, the charcoal stays as default. I still would like to set up a more fluid top banner.

This new suggested "default" actually harkens back to nostalgia, look close and you'll note the old 3e logo used on Eric Noah's original site lurking behind the ENworld logo instead of the satin texture. This default would use the same color scheme we have. It's name would be Charcoal. Along with having no banner on the top (i.e. classic) there are two other banners I've completed. I'll post them in followup messages.

This is Electric Blue again. It's still a neat theme I think, but I'll bow to the consensus that it shouldn't be default.

Third is "PHB" style. The body would be chocolate brown shades.

They're very cool. I really like them, except for the line with
"USER CP -REGISTER ...." that I found too big and distractive.

They're big for a reason - I don't want them overlooked.

I like the PHB style! Perhaps the admins here could heed the suggestion that someone made about making alternative styles available to community supporters, at least.

Russ has greenlighted the first one, but I'm going to wait until 3 AM EST before I try to implement them. Here's the final version by itself, with luck it shouldn't take more than an hour or so to marry the code to VBulletin.

And no sooner do I post that link do I encounter a small problem - the ads don't have a consistent size :\

Well, IE resizes to cope, NS should as well but that might be a major problem for some browsers that the image is larger than the frame.

I *though* all the ads were the same size, 468x60. Heh heh.. Oh well...

I like them, with the reservation that I don't like the "new" logo on the blue style. I don't intend to change the EN World logo at all.

I presume these styles apply to the whole page, not just the header section?
