The Flesh-Fused Monstrosity, a very scalable monster

This one is rather a radial shape with a bulbous disk-shaped body and 4 long spider-like legs spanning a good 18' or so, and holding the body a good 10-12' off the floor. The arms are roughly the size of a hill giant's, spaced between the legs. Again, most of the eyes fringe the body, with mouths beneath, but also in random places.

Theres a creature a lot like this called the Enveloper. It starts off at CR 2 and gets more powers, stat points, and hit die as it kills and consumes creatures. It can't take any powers or attacks that would require certain anatomy or spell abilities, but there was enough possible variety that you could make whatever you wanted. It also took on the alignment of its last victim.

I can appreciate the similarities, but I think you're missing out on the basic concept of the creature: it doesn't change.

A flesh-fused monstrosity is created in the form and size desired by the creator - it's just that a lot of them are created in different forms and sizes, for any number of purposes. It barely has any self-will of its own.

Does that explanation help?

hmmm... a sort of frankenstein meets the blob?
I would assume the spell to fashion these critters will soon follow, but one must wonder at just how high level this spell must go. Is it a separate spell for each teir, b/c i dont see how balance can be kept if done otherwise...

as for the stats, please allow me to annoy you with minor mistakes. sorry...
First, are the abilities repulse and gnaw etc Ex or Su? I would assume Ex.

Small: Grapple should be -4(+1 bab -1 str -4 size), flatfoot AC is 13 (+1 size +2 natural),
Garg: slam +39 (+15 str +24 bab)
now, for your more aberrous aberrations, or abominable abominations? anyway, are you going to base their attacks on the arms or on the body as a whole? if on the arms, you might want to double check the math there as well... but really, it only confuses the matter. creatures are given 1 strength score for a reason- maybe you should either pick only 1 stat, or maybe average them out.

dirty little creatures :D

Thanks for the good eye! Otoh...you forget the -4 on attack bonus for Gargantuan. Yes, the repulse and gnaw are Ex...
Yeah, I know the Str thing complicates matters somewhat...but it is pretty simple to do. Still...is it too much? Should I just throw that part out?

I'm just planning on 1 spell...have yet to figure out what level it needs to be. I'm thinking around 5th...maybe 6th. It isn't for low level wizards - but I could go lower with the spell and make *it* scalable...decisions, decisions.

For that matter...how many folks are interested in seeing the spell?
