The funny thing is...

Well it's obvious that the image isn't actually old. It's just better than the art I've seen so far from 4.0... but don't get me wrong. I'm very into 4.0 and looking forward to it. But as far as most art throughout all the D&D editions, more tends to be less.

Hey, thanks!

You did a pretty kick-ass job on the scenery, Klaus, nice job. Your figures are getting better by leaps and bounds, but there's stil a slightly cartoony, slightly off quality to the figures themselves. One can easily chalk it up to "artist's style" though, as everyone develops differently. Overall I like it quite a bit. And I'm a tough critic (and a dickly Art Director, lol).
The stone work on the stalactites are especially nice.

im talking about this image. I like the composition and it would be fun to color http://www.enworld.org/images/diaglo_odnd.jpg

But it is not an old image. Its made with a tablet, although its hard to tell if you don't see the full sized version. The d&d artwork I'm talking about is the general 4e artwork. Not the joke artwork on their website.

The Dragon is amazing, but ehh... Personally never liked that style of adventurer, always prefered the guys with the packs on, muddy, cut-up, realistic-armour, etc.

Not to say it isn't extremely well done :P
