The Gamer's Bag: Excellent

First Post
This year's GenCon Indy was my first experience with The Gamer's Bag -- Paladin and Paladinwife's custom dice bag company -- and I wanted to mention it here.

Their dice bags rock. They solve all of the problems that I've ever had with bags in the past -- cords that snap, cord-holes that fray, and lack of options -- and they do it with style. I knew I wanted a new dice bag, and I got to choose size, fabric, grommet color, cord color and beads for about what I would have paid for a crappy felt or leather bag elsewhere. (There were also more options to choose from, including custom monogramming, spikes and chainmail add-ons).

On top of that, Paladinwife said that she had what she needed to make my bag onsite, and made it for me on Saturday night during the convention so that I wouldn't have to wait. Wow. :) It's easily the coolest dice bag I've ever owned.

Any company willing to put up with my waffling and indecisiveness (which always comes to the foreground in this sort of situation) and bend over backwards on the customer service front and make kick-ass products makes me take notice. Everyone at the booth -- Paladinwife, Paladin and a third person whose name I can't remember -- was friendly, efficient and a pleasure to chat with.

These are great people running an amazing company, and they deserve to do very, very well. I highly recommend them! :D

Yeah, they really are great people. I've know Paladin since about the time that they started Gamer's Bad. I actually believe that I own one of their first bags :D:D

Yep, I'm liking my dicebag more and more as I look at it...

But why the hell is it scented? My bag, I promise you all, smells like Vanilla Extract... and it is disturbing me... though I expect the scent to wear out eventually...

Yep, I highly recommend these folks as well. I ordered mine online a while back, and received prompt and courteous e-mails confirming my choices and letting me know when it shipped. And what a great bag! My dice have never been so pampered; more than the little buggers deserve, I tell you. :)

I totally agree that Paladin and Paladin wife rock! They made me five bags within about a week so that I could collect them at the Con, they all looked wonderful, and they were really nice people as well. I ended up picking up a 6th, for a friend's daughter, and one of the guys I was with picked up one at the Con, and ordered another. Every time I popped over to see them, their stall was busy - they said on Saturday that they didn't even have time to open a can of pop! I really do hope that this is the platform that they need to build up their success! :)

Yeah, they're great!

I stopped by twice (once to pick something up I had pre-ordered) and once to talk about the CCG bandolier (when I also picked up another bag for some new dice I had bought at GenCon).

I walked by a third time, but they were so busy I didn't want to interrupt them.

Thanks for making a GenCon even better!

My girlfriend has ordered from them twice, one of her bags is up on the website. They did an awesome job on both bags. I spent $8 for some small fake velvet thing and I really wish I had known about them when I was looking for a dice bag. If anyone cares here is the bag she got first:
