This year's GenCon Indy was my first experience with The Gamer's Bag -- Paladin and Paladinwife's custom dice bag company -- and I wanted to mention it here.
Their dice bags rock. They solve all of the problems that I've ever had with bags in the past -- cords that snap, cord-holes that fray, and lack of options -- and they do it with style. I knew I wanted a new dice bag, and I got to choose size, fabric, grommet color, cord color and beads for about what I would have paid for a crappy felt or leather bag elsewhere. (There were also more options to choose from, including custom monogramming, spikes and chainmail add-ons).
On top of that, Paladinwife said that she had what she needed to make my bag onsite, and made it for me on Saturday night during the convention so that I wouldn't have to wait. Wow.
It's easily the coolest dice bag I've ever owned.
Any company willing to put up with my waffling and indecisiveness (which always comes to the foreground in this sort of situation) and bend over backwards on the customer service front and make kick-ass products makes me take notice. Everyone at the booth -- Paladinwife, Paladin and a third person whose name I can't remember -- was friendly, efficient and a pleasure to chat with.
These are great people running an amazing company, and they deserve to do very, very well. I highly recommend them!
