That depends on your phone company and how far behind you are. Most major telcos in America don't inflict any kind of penalty for paying every other month, but assign a very small charge after two months of non-payment. It takes upwards of 6 months to get turned off by some of them.

I can attest to this! When we moved about a year and half ago I forgot to update the address for our long distance service apparently. So our long distance worked, but no bills (they were usually quite small, so I didn't notice they weren't showing up). Took them about 6 months before they finally turned it off and when we called to pay up there was only about a $10 service fee....

It was also regular habit for some of my friends in college to pay the phone bill late as they were the most lenient on late or missed bills.

So go for it! The phone bill can wait! ;)

Vote: Rent it.

Sure, it's a good movie, but it's not that good. Lotsa laughs and insight, but I wonder how anyone can say it stands up to repeat viewing. If you are still inclined to buy it, take some do-re-mi from your friends to share the cost and pass the film around.

I'd say I've seen The Gamers at least 20 times.

I saw it at first when it was up on the Gencon website. Then they took it down and I just had to buy it.

I haven't seen it quite this often (maybe 5-7 times), but I agree wholeheartedly that it stands up very well to re-watching. It's also a great icebreaker with a new gaming group, and every gamer I've ever showed it to enjoyed it. :)
