One suggestion: some of the dialogue is hard to follow without spacing... would it lengthen the post unduly to use spaces between each shift in the character speaking? Of course, if others have no such difficulty, I am happy to defer to the majority on this minor quibble.

Noted. When I read this update myself before posting it, it was dense and hard to follow in places. I will edit accordingly - although I'm concerned that because there is so much dialogue, the length may almost double.

Sep, You have undoubtly (IMNSHO) the best grasp of Vancian magic that I have seen in a long, long time. If any one ever asks why the D&D magic system works the way it works, all they need to do is read your story hour.

Keep up the Good Work.

Oh, and BTW...

I'm impressed, jealous, and grateful. My meager vocabulary is insufficient for fully describing the awe I feel towards this story hour, but I nevertheless wish to write something to encourage you in your further gm-ing and authorship. Regardless of how inelegant and convoluted my praise is expressed my respect for you is genuine.

:)

I'm assuming Iua is a Fighter/Duelist or something along those lines. She must have been very tough to defeat Ortwin. On another note, I find it dissapointing that Mostin did not take advantage of Mulissus weakness and blackmail her for all she was worth. ;)

Hopefully the Heroes will find some way to deal with Feezu before she deals with them. Looking forward to more, as always.

Too Cool

Sep,

This is just too awesome. Poor Ortwin! Two blows to his ego in quick succession.

I agree on the magic in your campaign - it feels so much more alive than any other D&D game I've ever seen.

Interesting... I like the Vancian mage politics.

Incidentally, you asked who had the idea of equating D&D spell levels to quantum levels. I don't know if I was the first one to mention it here as I don't recall ever discussing it here, but it has been a personal take of mine for a long time.
