Atavy looks at the two men in disgust. "You stop the hunt? Just to sleep a little?" He looks at them appraisingly. "You aren't all that tired. You can go on another night or two."

The dwarven woman turns to the hunter "Well, I guess we could go on tonight" she says in a meek, submissive voice "You look like you have more experience at these things that I do. Will your God aid us?"

Takes a moment to glance back at the halfling and dwarf bantering and makes notes to herself, I must speak to the halfling on the matter of the Malar, such an evil should not be venerated. Later though, there are things to take care of now."

Nysa then turns back to the gold dwarf before her and says, "Please, think on the matter of aid, I will be about until at least the matter of these missing men is resolved." She pauses and then brings of the halfling's questions, "Kalgar, do you happen to recall anything about those rude enough to step on you? Perhaps what they were wearing? Or anything of note that they were carrying, weapons, a backpack, that srot of thing?"

Atavy shrugs his shoulders in a dismissive manner. "If you rely on someone's help to hunt, you ain't much of a hunter yourself, no? Malar will aid us, or not. We will hunt either way."

Meliria has been only half-listening to the conversation, but Atavy's increasingly insistent attitude about "the hunt" gets her attention. "I'm with the halfling," Meliria offers. "Let's go after these missing loggers tonight. Most of us can see well enough in the dark that it shouldn't be a problem."

With that, Meliria steps away from the wall of the alley, where she had been skulking, and stretches. She looks about expectently, waiting for Atavy (or someone else) to lead the way.

[SBLOCK]OOC -- Are we missing a DM? I suppose we can have our characters hang around the alley and engage in role-playing conversations. But I really prefer to do something, and that requires DM input.[/SBLOCK]
