Personally, I make use of a rather more... haphazard method of filing my notes. I really should get a bit more organised.

I've started using Evernote to keep all my gaming notes. You can put text or pictures or whatever you like into it, and it automatically syncs up with any other systems you install Evernote onto. So I can manipulate images and write plots on my desktop, and then use my tablet when game time rolls around.
