"The Imperfects" on Netflix - Possible Spoilers

Just finished watching these.

Loved it. Hit all the right notes. The heroes don’t do stupid things just to drive plot. Nobody really hides stuff in order to have misunderstandings drive plot. None of it makes me want to shout at the characters for being stupid.

Definitely liked this one and want more.
Unfortunately, they really bungled the ad campaign for this. I just stumbled across it right after it came out, having no idea that it was slated for release. I usually flag anything upcoming that looks of interest to me, so I get a notification when it is actually released.

No word yet on a season 2 so if you want one, put the word out to friends. Maybe we can do better by it than Netflix did ;)

I'm most of the way through a second watch. One thing that I missed, the first time around, is the costuming. Juan changes clothes frequently, because he keeps tearing them up with his changes. Abbi is stuck in the same clothes for so long that she makes a point of saying that she has to change, somewhere around episode 4-5. Tilda gets into the van in one outfit and gets out in another. Starts drinking in a hotel room in what looks almost like a fine mesh chainmail shirt, then leaves a few hours later in a blue gauzy shirt. I think that she might be getting between 3 and 5 costume changes per episode! :ROFLMAO:

The code to shut off the EMP? NCC1701 🤓

I now have to change my password all over the internet.
I'm wracking my brain to remember the name of the Canadian actress who plays Dr. Monday, but failing miserably. They didn't credit her on IMDB and she's good enough that she deserved a much larger role.

BINGO! Thanks. I had forgotten that she's also in "Motherland: Fort Salem." Her IMDB entry doesn't even show "The Imperfects." Those eyes ❤️
I've been in love with her for years. I always love seeing her in something. For some reason she never seems to get major roles. She's almost always a guest star or a supporting character.

What's funny is you can always tell a show is filmed in Canada, because the same actors are used all the time. And most of them were on Battlestar Galactica. Watch Devil In Ohio* and you'll recognize a number of faces.

*Not a recommendation, because it's not very good.

Halfway through episode 1, for about a week now.

In Canadian TV there's an unspoken rule about actors getting their turn with a series, then someone else steps in for the next big series. Vancouver skates by on this by shilling for production houses south of the border, while hiding behind mountains.
