Sorry about that. But I can say this: I was not/am not a playtester for the 3e FF and nothing you see (except as mentioned above) that appears in the ToH will be in the 3e FF.

Uh- all the dragons in the MM have four legs and wings.

And let's not forget fairies/pixies. They have four limbs and wings (sometimes four!).

Dragons have no IRL counterpart. The closest we come is the various large reptiles (and hardly any of them have the profusion of horns and spikes we see on dragons nowadays!). So who's to say they can't have all the limbs they want?

But, you have complete editorial control over your own campaigns. I don't think it would be too hard to convert the existing dragons to a birdlike structure. You'd just have to remove some of their attacks that depend on more than two legs (don't have my MM with me, so I can't give you anything like an example -- rend is the only thing that comes to mind). At worst, this will put the dragons more in line with the CRs listed in the MM.

I'll definitely be buying the Tome of Horrors, MM2 and Fiend Folio.

I just can't get enough of those monster books.

I'm especially happy that the following monsters are included in the MM2:

• Neogi - I've always used them as the main Underdark race in my campaign. They seem much more alien and appropriate
• Death Knight - What's not to like? One of my main villains in my latest campaign was a former PC Paladin who had fallen from grace at the point of his death in the previous campaign
• Ulgurstasta - Simply the most vile, horrid undead monster I've ever seen.

I also have a question about the Tome of Horrors...

Will it be listed on amazon.com or bn.com soon? I just did a search by name and then ISBN (1588461122..FYI)and it didn't come up.

Dragons have been depicted with either two or four legs throughout history. It's really a matter of artistic license and either way is fine. Do a google search for "st. george dragon picture" or "st. george dragon woodcut" and you'll see stuff going back to the 15th century and earlier with both two and four legs.
