Brenwar and Yishim see that the each of the alcoves contain shrines. Brenwar immediately recognizes them as shrines to Palladys. The ghost has disappeared, but the incense burner still lies before the southern shrine. The paladin recalls from his life at the temple that the incense is part of a prayer for protection and guidance. Under normal circumstances, such a prayer would not be sufficient to halt a legion of specters. But these are hardly normal circumstances.

Yishim notices a few sticks on incense remaining. They seem to be remarkably well preserved.

Firete follows the others to where the ghost went, if a little reluctantly. I hope you are sure in this, Master Brenwar. How do we know that this spectre is no different from the other ones we have just vanquished? There is something rather uncanny about all these spirits, I like it not.

keeping ahead of the group, Chey immediately follows the ghost girl when she heads to the south, her curiosity has been piqued and not much will distract her from investigating.

So is it safe to assume I know the steps to accomplish said prayer in character? Out of character what would I need to do as far as on my turn.
