The Jade Frontier, part 2 (DM: THB, Judge: Lord Sessadore)

Brenwar looks over at Miranna and shrugs, "If Yishim thinks he can figure something out, I'm with him." With that Brenwar follows Yishim into the room...

"Well, as I said before; I believe that the past of this keep is reaching out to us, but I do not wish to leave you out here on your own so I shall stand guard with you."
Cheysuli announces as she stand's to her full height (even her tail is reaching for the ceiling) and snaps her heels together in military fashion, only a sly wink gives away her levity.

Yishim inspects the sarcophagus, looking for any markings or other clues as to why the door had been defiled. [sblock=If Nothing Happens]Brenwar, do you think we should open the sarcophagus? I'd like to see who's buried here, but I don't want to further desecrate the tomb.[/sblock]

The sarcophagus is made of smooth, unblemished marble. There are no engravings, no decorations, and no signs of vandalism. It is covered with the same amount of dust that the rest of the room is.

[sblock=Perception 15]There is something written in the dust on the coffin. It looks like someone wrote it out with their finger. Unfortunately, it is in Tsugo.[/sblock]

OOC: I have not been able to get on the Internet since Sunday and I'm posting this from my phone. Hopefully this will clear up, but I will let you know if it doesn't.
And the Dungeoneering was to check for traps, it always pays to be properly paranoid.

Yishim point out some writing on the sarcophagus. I don't read this tongue, but I can correct this very shortly. Just let me gather my spellcasting items. With that, he begins to cast a simple ritual which should allow him to read the graffiti.
[sblock=Perception, Ritual]Perception (1d20+3=21) - I see the writing

From the compendium: Using this ritual on a language you have both heard and seen as a piece of writing within the past 24 hours allows you to understand it in both forms for the next 24 hours, and an Arcana check result of 35 or higher allows you to speak and write the language.

I'm seeing Tsugo written, have I heard it recently? In any case, my roll 1d20=8; I forgot to add +9 for arcana so a 17.[/sblock]

[sblock=Tsugo]You have heard Tsugo recently, from the mouths of both the living and the dead.

The writing is a single word which you now recognize to be a name: Takeshi.[/sblock]
