Perhaps starting this thread will prompt me to draw more frequently. I'm trying to get away from plain old character portraits and get more into action poses.

I'll start with my newest drawing of a character (Zooky Funginackle, a svirfneblin rogue charging into battle) from Sniktch's City of the Spider Queen campain. Her character sheet is posted in Sniktch's Rogues Gallery, if you're interested.

Anyway, on with it:

Pretty cool gnome, I like the hat. You asked for constructive criticism, so here goes: the left arm looks a little strange, and the the left hand doesn't seem to be holding the pick quite right. The shoulders and the hips don't quite seem to be at the correct angles. It might look better if the she were standing on her right leg and the left leg was going back, but thats really just nit-picking. Overall it is pretty good, though... Post more

Yes, the left arm does look funny. I don't quite have a good grasp on perspective yet. I appreciate your criticism, and I will post more soon.
